Stop Apologising
We know that saying sorry when we have hurt someone, said something we know we shouldn’t have and need to take accountability for our actions is the right thing to do.
But when we use sorry to apologise for our being, as a preface to a question or to denounce our beliefs then we need to take a long, hard look at our vernacular!
If you are a woman in business, or trying to get a promotion then you definitely need to adjust your vocabulary to be more assertive, but that’s another workshop!
